HOW ARE TUMBLING CLASSES ORGANIZED?

AC’s Tumbling Academy focuses on the gymnastics aspect of cheerleading.  From cartwheels to twisting saltos, jumps and necessary conditioning.  Classes are held at all levels - from beginning to advanced cheerleader.  Weekly classes focus on tumbling and are taught by experienced state and regionally ranked gymnastic coaches.  All classes are under the direction and supervision of USAG safety certified coaches or directors.

 

WHAT ARE THE LEVELS?

Ages 4-6  Cheer Tots! 

Start your child’s cheerleading education at Atlantic Coast.  Classes include clapping and vocal exercises, pom routines and tumbling.

 

Ages 7 -17

 

Classes are divided by skill levels.

 

Level 1: learning handstand, cartwheel, back handspring and roundoff

Level 2: can perform Level 1 skills, learning the backhandspring.

Level 3: can perform Level 1 & 2 skills, learning the back handspring series.

Level 4: can perform Level 1, 2, 3 skills, learning the salto series.
