HOW ARE TUMBLING CLASSES ORGANIZED?

AC’s Tumbling Academy focuses on the gymnastics aspect of cheerleading.  From cartwheels to twisting saltos, jumps and necessary conditioning.  Classes are held at all levels - from beginning to advanced cheerleader.  Weekly classes focus on tumbling and are taught by experienced state and regionally ranked gymnastic coaches.  All classes are under the direction and supervision of USAG safety certified coaches or directors.

 

WHAT ARE THE LEVELS?

Ages 6 - 17

 

Classes are divided by skill levels.

 

Level 1: learning handstand, cartwheel, learning backhand spring drills and roundoff

Level 2: can perform Level 1 skills, learning the backhandspring.

Level 3: can perform Level 1 & 2 skills, learning the back handspring series.

Level 4: can perform Level 1, 2, 3 skills, learning the salto series.

because we must have signed participation agreements for each gymnast.

No registrations will be accepted by phone

 

 

SEMESTER DATES:

Fall Semester September 6 - January 28

Spring Semester tba

(Spring Semester includes Gymshow for gymnastics classes only)

Gymshows: June 8, 9, and 10

Holiday Break:  December 24-January 1

Summer Session:  June 20-August 26

No Classes on Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day,

Easter Monday, Memorial Day, July 4

 

 

Fall Session:  September 6 – January 28

 

Session Costs:      

Level 1 & 2 - $18.50 per class*

Level 3 & 4 - $23.50 per class (1.5 hrs.)*
